This little beauty came to visit me when she was 2 months old. At 2 months old, you never know what you’re going to get as far as how the session will go. 😉 This sweet girl was so sweet and so happy through her whole session. She gave me lots of smiles – maybe she thought I was funny looking? 🙂 I attempted to swaddle her for some shots but she quickly let me know that wasn’t happening for long! Ha! We did a few unswaddled shots as well and then this sweet girl fell asleep JUST enough for me to attempt to do a few sleepy posed shots. 🙂 Here are some of my favorites from Miss Phoenix’s session…

Nola: 7 Months Old | New Orleans, LA Baby Plan Photographer

Another one of my sweet JOY Plan babies came back to visit me! Gorgeous little Nola is already 7 months old when I feel like I JUST photographed her as a newborn! She is just the cutest thing and her mama brought some of the cutest outfits for her to wear! She was a little wary of me at first but finally warmed up and showed me that beautiful smile that she has. 🙂 We did lots of sweet girly setups for her to match her newborn session and included one “progression shot” to show how much she’s grown. Ethan: 12 Days Old | Hammond, LA Newborn Portrait Session

This sleepy little guy came to the studio in Baton Rouge a few months ago to have his newborn portraits taken. He tried keeping an eye on me for part of the session but quickly fell into a nice deep sleep. We did a more rustic theme with his session and incorporated browns, dark greens, and deep teals. Judging by the smiles he flashed at me during his session, I think he was a pretty happy camper while I worked with him. 🙂 Here are some of my favorites from Ethan’s newborn session…

Julien: 1 Year Old | New Orleans, LA Baby Plan Session

My sweet buddy Julien came back to the studio a couple of months ago for his final JOY Plan session! Isn’t he just the cutest? His mama brought some adorable outfits for him! (You know how much I love hats and suspenders for babies. 🙂 ) We did a couple of regular setups – a couple including mom and dad – and then ended the session with a Very Hungry Caterpillar themed cake smash. BUT, these first two images ended up being a couple of my (and I think mom’s) favorites. Ha! This sweet thing was just sitting patiently waiting while I set up the first backdrop and I decided to grab a couple of shots of his while I checked my lights. He’s seriously just the sweetest thing! If you ever want a good challenge, try photographing an almost 2 year old and an almost 3 year old….at the same time….in the late afternoon! Ha! This sweet brother and sister came to the studio for a petite session to get some updated pictures for their mama.
