Cole – 8 Weeks Old | Baton Rouge, Louisiana Newborn Photography Session

Sweet Cole and all of his chunkiness came to visit me a few weeks ago for his newborn session. He decided he wanted to keep mom and dad on their toes and show up just before 33 weeks! After a 2 week stay in the NICU, he’s now home and healthy and adorable and snuggly. 🙂 It’s always “iffy” on how an 8 weeker will do for a newborn session but he did absolutely perfect. He slept super soundly for a good two hours until dad jinxed us by commenting that he couldn’t believe he was sleeping through everything. 😉 Mom and I chatted before his session and planned everything around the colors of his nursery – and even added a few of his furry friends!  He gave me some super adorable shots and I got to try out my newest (and current favorite) pose – called the “potato sack pose in the newborn photography community”.
