I feel like I went through a few weeks in December/January where EVERY SINGLE newborn was from a repeat client. Nothing makes this photographer’s heart happier than feeling like clients were happy enough with my work with their first (or second, or third) baby that they want to come back with their newest baby. 🙂 Emmett is the 3rd baby I have photographed for this family! He was just a sweet ball of love and – minus a little “accident” at the beginning of the session during some naked shots – was a perfect angel. And big brother and sister couldn’t have been any more perfect when they jumped in for a few shots with him! Here are a few of my favorites from Emmett’s session…

Meet 24 day old Noella! This little lady is the brand new baby sister of one of my past JOY Plan babies. Her big brother is an absolute doll so I just knew Noella would be just as adorable! Just look how perfect her little lips are! 🙂 I loved everything about her session – from the colors that we used to the sweet little expressions she gave me to the way her mama, papa, and big brother just loved on her. Braxton: 11 Days Old | New Orleans, LA Newborn Photographer

I have been waiting a LONG time to meet this sweet guy! I got to photograph his 3 older siblings throughout their first year so Braxton’s mama booked this session pretty much right after she found out she was pregnant. 🙂 His oldest brother and sister were my very first set of newborn twins to photograph and his other older brother was my very first “I’m not going to sleep a wink during my session” newborn. Ha! Braxton did not disappoint! He was a doll for his whole session and let me get lots of sweet shots and he even let his brothers and sister (and mom and dad) jump in for a few shots. Ellie: 11 Weeks Old | Baton Rouge, LA Newborn Portrait Photographer

Sweet Miss Ellie came to visit me when she was just shy of 3 months old. I was unsure of how her session would go because she was not quite a “newborn” but not quite an “older baby”. But, my goodness! I think we got the perfect combination of a little of both! She is just the most adorable, snuggly little love with the most beautiful eyes! I think she gave me some of my all time FAVORITE awake newborn shots as she just laid there looking at me wondering what the heck I was doing. Ha! And she did fall asleep for a little bit to let us get some sweet, sleepy shots as well. I had a REALLY hard time narrowing down my favorites so…enjoy. 🙂
